Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Component Engineer to support the control of electronic part requirements. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:Generation of Source Control Drawings (SCD’s)Supplier Control Documentation ReviewEnsuring part program requirements compliance (Program Approved parts lists/Nonconformance Reports/Test Documents)Reviewing Incoming Inspection DataManaging Vendor/Manufacturer QPL CofCCompiling part-specific data packagesGenerating and resolving Discrepant Material Reports (DMR)Data Management (Configuration, logging, and storage/maintaining electronic databases such as Product Lifecycle Management systems (PLM) and Access Database)Coordinating with Engineering, Material Control, and Quality Assurance for disposition of part issues (e.g., GIDEP) and parts performance requirementsFamiliarizing with EEE parts selection, characterization/evaluation, screening, prohibitive/restrictive usage, traceability/Lot control, Destructive Physical Analysis (DPA), and nuclear radiation requirements for space programsEducation & Required Skills:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)7 years of Component Engineering experienceProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access Database, and Product Lifecycle Management systemsIf you are a detail-oriented professional with strong experience in component engineering and a passion for ensuring the highest standards in electronic part requirements, we encourage you to apply.
