Join Foley Equipment and grow your career as a skilled Caterpillar, heavy equipment, EPG (Electric Power Generation) or truck technician today.  What You Will Do in This Role: Perform repairs and also do full reconditioning on components.Remove and install parts, disassemble and assemble components, and test and adjust assemblies with minimal supervision Test and verify correct operation of all repairs and adjustments Complete work orders and service reports with clear, concise, and detailed information.Create a work environment that supports safety and is considerate of the customer and department’s needs.
Candidate Requirements:Must be active duty U.S. Military members (or spouse) with approximately 180 days of time in service remaining.Must be accepted into the Hiring Our Heroes (HOH) 25-2 cohort.
Our Ideal Candidate: Basic mechanical knowledge including electrical and hydraulics General knowledge of basic hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools and instruments, cranes and rigging equipmentMust be able to read and comprehend specifications, service and parts literature, technical bulletins and other related publications  What Will Put You Ahead: Experience working within the diesel mechanics industry Knowledge of use of various heavy equipment, including CaterpillarStable work history
