Components Engineer

Job Posting Summary:
Seeking a Component Engineer to manage the lifecycle of electronic components, focusing on obsolescence management, BOM development, and component qualification for aerospace and military applications.

Job Requirements:

Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology. Minimum 2-5 years of experience in Component Engineering, obsolescence management, or a related field. Experience with PTC Windchill for BOM (Bill of Material) development and management. Proficiency in Parts Standardization application and technology insertion within the design process. Experience creating Part Control Drawings (e.g., SCD, VID). Knowledge of component selection, screening, qualification, and derating for aerospace and military flight applications. Active SECRET clearance required.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with circuit card and EEE parts material manufacturing processes. Experience as a component technologist, managing electronic component lifecycles. Ability to manage multiple tasks and adjust priorities to meet project deadlines.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage the lifecycle of electronic components, focusing on obsolescence and technology insertion. Develop and manage BOMs using PTC Windchill. Apply parts standardization within the design process. Create and maintain Part Control Drawings (SCD, VID). Ensure component selection and qualification meet aerospace and military standards.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $54.00 per hour
