Description
The component engineer will be involved in the design development and support of Digital and RF/Microwave Products. The engineer will be responsible for ensuring the electrical components in the modules meet the highest reliability requirements as well as the product life cycle requirement's.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or degree in Electrical Engineering Technology.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in Component Engineering or obsolescence management or related field.
- Experience with PTC windchill for BOM Bill of Material development and management.
- Experience with Parts Standardization application and technology insertion within the design process.
- Experience with creation of Part control Drawings SCD VID.
- Knowledge of component selection screening qualification and derating for use in military and aerospace flight applications.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Secret clearance required to start
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of circuit card and EEE Parts Material manufacturing processes.
- Function as an experienced component technologist responsible for the life cycle of electronic components.
- Ability to multi-task handle shifting priorities and timeline pressure to meet project deadlines.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $75.00/hr.
