This is your chance to make an impact in a dynamic aerospace environment while advancing your expertise in composite materials inspection. **Position Overview** **Job Title:** Composite Inspector **Job Type:** Full-time, Contract (6+ months) **Location:** Marina, CA 93933 **Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM **Pay Rate:** $26.00-$32.00 per hour **Job Description** As a Composite Inspector, you will be responsible for performing critical inspections on composite materials and parts throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring the highest quality standards are met. **Key Responsibilities** + Inspect incoming composite materials. + Conduct in-process inspections during the layup of composite materials. + Perform final inspections on completed composite parts and Work Order packages. **Required Qualifications** + High school diploma or GED with a minimum of **2 years' experience** in composite inspection, fabrication, or mechanical inspection. + Proficiency with measurement tools such as scales, calipers, and micrometers. + Knowledge of quality terms, measurement concepts, and traceability practices. + Ability to read blueprints and understand critical/key characteristics. + Basic understanding of calibration and geometric tolerancing (GD&T). + Strong math skills, including measurement conversions and solving equations. **Desired Qualifications** + **2+ years' aerospace industry experience.** + Familiarity with **ASME** **Y14.5M** , GD&T, and the x, y, z coordinate system. **Why Join Us?** This role offers a competitive salary, a collaborative team environment, and the opportunity to enhance your expertise in a fast-paced, innovative aerospace setting.
