Position Overview

Job Title: Composite Inspector
Job Type: Full-time, Contract (6+ months)
Location: Marina, CA 93933
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $26.00-$32.00 per hour

Job Description

As a Composite Inspector, you will be responsible for performing critical inspections on composite materials and parts throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect incoming composite materials.

Conduct in-process inspections during the layup of composite materials.

Perform final inspections on completed composite parts and Work Order packages.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 2 years' experience in composite inspection, fabrication, or mechanical inspection.

Proficiency with measurement tools such as scales, calipers, and micrometers.

Knowledge of quality terms, measurement concepts, and traceability practices.

Ability to read blueprints and understand critical/key characteristics.

Basic understanding of calibration and geometric tolerancing (GD&T).

Strong math skills, including measurement conversions and solving equations.

Desired Qualifications

2+ years' aerospace industry experience.

Familiarity with ASME Y14.5M, GD&T, and the x, y, z coordinate system.

Pay Details: $26.00 to $32.00 per hour
