Composite Materials Engineer
Our client, a leader in advanced materials technology, is seeking a Test Engineer to join their team. As a Test Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting innovative projects in composite material development. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Composite Materials Engineer/ Composite Process Engineer **Location:** 5301 Patrick Henry Dr., Santa Clara CA 95054 **What's the Job?** + Conduct composite material formulation development and evaluation. + Organize and track incoming materials for development projects. + Perform material configuration Design of Experiments (DOEs) to meet defined performance targets. + Fabricate laminates from developmental formulations using recycled materials. + Report results of experiments and develop molding guidelines based on findings. **What's Needed?** + A minimum B.S. in Materials Science or a related field. + 3+ years of hands-on material/process engineering experience in composites. + Experience with autoclave and press-molding processes. + Trained in experimental design and data analysis. + Excellent written and oral communication skills. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work with cutting-edge composite materials. + Collaborative and inclusive work environment. + Engagement in innovative projects that make a difference. + Professional growth and development opportunities. + Be part of a team that values diversity and creativity.
