PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Composite Repair Technician to support aerospace manufacturing in Kinston, NC. In this full-time, 6-month consulting role, you will be responsible for assembling, repairing, and bonding composite and metal aerospace components, ensuring top-tier quality and safety. Pay Rate: $40 - $43 per hour Schedule: Must be available for any shift, overtime, and weekends as required Location: Onsite in Kinston, NC What You’ll Do

As a Composite Repair Technician, you will:

Lay out, assemble, pre-fit, and bond composite and metal components using advanced fabrication techniques. Follow engineering and manufacturing specifications to determine proper bonding procedures, temperature, and pressure settings. Cut materials to size, apply sealing resins to cut/exposed edges, and ensure a smooth finish. Operate autoclaves, hydraulic presses, and ovens to complete bonding cycles. Perform complex rework and repairs, ensuring compliance with aerospace quality standards. Use precision measuring instruments and shop mathematics to verify completed work. Monitor and verify quality in accordance with controlled procedures. Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain tools per certification procedures. Support continuous production flow by training and assisting team members. Obtain MVP qualification through company-provided training. What You Bring Required Qualifications: 2-5 years of Composite Repair experience in aerospace manufacturing. Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering specifications. Experience with bonding, cutting, sealing, and finishing aerospace components. Ability to stand for an entire 8-hour shift and perform physically demanding tasks. Local candidates strongly preferred. Must be able to start ASAP and work any assigned shift, including weekends and overtime. Preferred Qualifications: Experience operating autoclaves, hydraulic presses, and ovens for composite fabrication. Knowledge of precision measurement tools and aerospace-quality verification procedures. Previous experience in a high-volume aerospace production environment. Apply Today!

Pay Details: $40.00 to $43.00 per hour
