Job Description

As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for reading and understanding drawings, multi-level build of materials (BOMs), Assembly Procedures, and Manufacturing Work Instructions (MWIs). You will work with material handling equipment such as overhead cranes and man lifts, and maintain proper storage and handling of flight hardware material. You must ensure a clean and organized work area, facilitate manufacturing functions, and perform routine maintenance and daily cleanup that supports 5S and FOD. All work must be performed according to established standards and safety procedures in an AS9100 certified environment.

Work Environment

Headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, the company operates a brand-new climate-controlled aerospace facility in Decatur, AL. The majority of the need is for the 2nd shift (3pm - 11:30pm M-F) with 10% overtime after training. Training will be conducted on the day shift (7am - 3:30pm) for the first 2-3 months before transitioning to the 2nd shift. There is also a possibility of a night shift. The team is evenly split between two buildings, which are within walking distance of each other.


Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
