**Aerotek is hiring a Compounder**
**Responsibilities**
+ Oversee the fermentation process in yeast manufacturing.
+ Manage batch making processes and raw materials feeding into the process.
+ Perform tests for temperature control, pH control, and flow control.
+ Conduct in-house testing for pH and ethanol, following SOP guidelines.
+ Calibrate ethanol meter.
+ Multi-task and work efficiently in various weather conditions.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in control room operations.
+ Knowledge of biology, chemistry, and quality control.
+ Proficiency in temperature and pH testing.
+ Ability to work with logic controllers.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Associates Degree required, preferably in a science discipline.
+ A minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in a fast-paced, production-driven food environment.

**Work Environment**
3 on 3 off rotating schedule between 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am, effectively working only 6 months out of the year due to the 12-hour shifts. Availability for overtime as needed for vacation and call-out coverage is required. Training will be provided for both utility operator and fermentation operator processes.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, Tennessee.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50
