Job Description
Under direct supervision, the incumbent is responsible for the operation of pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment in a GMP environment for the purpose of making clinical supplies and performing development experiments.
ResponsibilitiesTrain on and understand all policy and procedures including Regulatory, Safety, SOPs, Work Instructions, etc.Perform pharmaceutical manufacturing activities including batch documentation/record generation, materials sampling, staging, dispensing, and return.Set-up, operate, and clean pharmaceutical equipment and rooms.Use appropriate personal safety equipment and engineering controls.Conduct in-process inspection and sampling.Utilize IT platforms for documentation and tracking.Perform developmental manufacturing experiments under the direction of a formulation specialist or process engineer.Support investigational and quality systems activities.Assist maintenance in the performance of preventative maintenance activities, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment.Participate in continuous improvement activities.Comply with all federal and state regulations and guidelines.Follow all company and site policies and procedures.Stay current in profession and industry trends.Make positive contributions such as suggesting improvements and learning new skills, procedures, and processes.Be available for other duties as required.Be available for overtime as needed.Essential Skills3-5 years of experience in sample management, GMP, encapsulation, compression, and tablet press compounding.High School Diploma.Experience working with dietary supplements/oral solid dosage, mixing, and compounding.Knowledge of FDA regulations and batch records.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to perform tasks in compliance with federal and state regulations and guidelines.Ability to comply with company and site policies and procedures.Work Environment
This role operates in a leading nutraceutical company in the US, which is looking to expand by 40% next year. The work environment includes working with pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment in a GMP environment. Employees are expected to use appropriate personal safety equipment and follow engineering controls. The position may require overtime as needed.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $55000.00
