**Job Title: Compounder** **Job Description** As a Compounder, you will be producing paint and related products by setting up, operating, or tending machines to mix or blend materials, such as chemicals, liquids, color pigments, explosive ingredients, or rust-proofing materials. You will follow a recipe/batch list to gather and weigh materials, then load and start the mixing/compounding process manually. **Responsibilities** + Produce paint and related products by setting up and operating machines. + Mix or blend materials following a recipe/batch list. + Gather and weigh materials accurately. + Manually load materials into machines and start the mixing/compounding process. + Ensure all processes adhere to safety and quality standards. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of compounding/mixing experience + Proficiency in mixing, blending, and handling raw materials + Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles + Experience in operating machinery for chemical production + Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) + Ability to follow batch records and formulas **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with batch making and chemical production processes + Attention to detail and accuracy in material handling + Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills **Why Work Here?** Enjoy working in a modern facility that is less than 5 years old. The workspace is temperature-controlled, ensuring a comfortable working environment. The role requires wearing long pants, long sleeve shirts, and closed-toe and closed-heel shoes. The company will provide boots. The work shifts are as follows: 1st shift: Monday-Thursday, 6:00am-4:30pm, and 2nd shift: Monday-Thursday, 3:30pm-2:00am, with overtime as needed on Fridays. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
