Job Description
As a Chemical Compounding Operator, you will be responsible for producing batches of coatings and paints by following Batch Tickets to meet customer and company specifications. This role requires attention to detail and adherence to GMP standards.
ResponsibilitiesProduce batches of coatings and paints according to Batch Tickets.Follow customer and company specifications for product production.Mix, blend, and compound chemicals accurately.Maintain a clean and organized workspace.Ensure all production records are completed accurately.Adhere to GMP and safety protocols during operations.Essential SkillsExperience in batching, blending, sanitation, or manufacturing with liquid-based products.Positive attendance record.Proficiency in chemical mixing and batch processing.Knowledge of GMP standards and chemical operations.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in food manufacturing or chemical manufacturing.Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate batch records.Work Environment
The work environment includes shifts from Monday to Friday, 2 – 10 p.m., and Sunday to Thursday, 10 p.m. – 6 a.m. Training will be conducted from 6:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. for one week for all shifts. The role offers 40 hours plus per week with almost unlimited overtime opportunities for those who wish to work more hours. The facility operates under GMP standards, and safety protocols are strictly followed. Shift premiums are available: $1.50 for 2nd shift and $3.00 for 3rd shift.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.75 - $23.75/hr.
