Our client, a leading company in the cosmetic industry, is seeking a Compounder to join their team in Glendale, CA. This role involves preparing and mixing ingredients for cosmetic products, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Retrieve ingredients as per batch card specifications.Document each phase of the production process accurately.Operate and maintain equipment such as pumps, mills, homogenizers, and mixers.Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Working Instructions (WI), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals.Handle raw materials and finished products safely.Perform manual and automated cleaning and sanitation procedures.Adhere to environmental policies and proper waste handling.Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.Follow all safety protocols and report any issues promptly.Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisory management.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; GED accepted.1-2 years of experience in a compounding or mixing environment.Bilingual in Spanish and English.Understanding of basic chemical principles and aseptic techniques.Ability to operate and troubleshoot processing equipment.Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, and drum lifters.Ability to lift up to 55 lbs intermittently; heavier items lifted using appropriate methods.Basic mathematical skills and ability to perform conversions.Familiarity with mixers, roller mills, blenders, scales, pH meters, etc.Organizational and time management skills.Flexibility to work any of the two shifts and overtime (including weekends) when needed.

Pay & Schedule:

Pay Rate: $21.00 to $27.00 per hour.Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with potential overtime including Saturdays as needed.
