**Job Title: Compounder** **Job Description** As a compounder, you will be responsible for producing paint and related products by setting up, operating, or tending machines to mix or blend materials such as chemicals, liquids, color pigments, explosive ingredients, or rust-proofing materials. You will receive a recipe or batch list, gather materials, weigh them out, and follow the recipe to load materials and start the mixing and compounding process. This is a very manual process as you will be loading the materials yourself. **Responsibilities** + Set up, operate, or tend machines to mix or blend materials. + Follow recipes or batch lists to gather and weigh materials accurately. + Load materials and start the mixing and compounding process. + Ensure the quality and consistency of the produced products. + Maintain a clean and safe working environment. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of experience in compounding or mixing. + Proficiency in mixing and blending materials. + Experience with lean manufacturing, machine operation, and material handling. + Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). + Ability to follow batch records and formulas accurately. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in chemical production and batch making. + Ability to work in a team-oriented environment. + Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. **Why Work Here?** Our facility is less than 5 years old, ensuring a modern and pleasant working environment. The warehouse is temperature-controlled. Employees are required to wear long pants, long sleeve shirts, and closed-toe and closed-heel shoes (with boots provided by the employer). Shifts are as follows: 1st shift: Mon-Thurs 6:00 am-4:30 pm, 2nd shift: Mon-Thurs 3:30 pm-2:00 am, with overtime on Fridays as needed. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.75/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
