Job Title: Compounder

Hours/Schedule: 2nd shift, 12pm- 8pm, 40 hrs. per week

Overview
Leading consumer goods company looking for an experienced Compounder. Ideal candidates should have a High School Diploma and previous lab or compounding experience.
Responsibilities Small scale Perfumery and Beauty Compounding supporting both local and global formulae Prepare fragrance compounds by precisely weighing accurate formulae ingredients using automated system. Ensuring all ingredients are quality and within expiration date. Perform other lab and project tasks as directed by the Lab Supervisors Maintain an organized collection of Raw Materials Be able to help with overflow work when volumes increase. Maintain a clean and well-organized laboratory workspace. Identify inefficiencies and propose viable solutions following Lean Management principles and guidelines. Assure compliance of HS&E procedures and proactively contribute to the improvement of lab safety. Wear appropriate PPE (gloves, goggles, lab coat, closed toed shoes), follow safety protocols and avoid contamination risk. Independent and efficient use of all internal tools for data collection/recording and administration. Maintain awareness of technology and issues affecting own job. Contribute to team success – Actively participates as a member of a team to move the team toward the completion of goals.
Requirements
Education: High School diploma or equivalent experience in a production or manufacturing environment. Previous Experience: 0-5 years in a laboratory/compounding environment Competencies: Must be able to stand for long periods of time Ability to lift 20lbs Flexibility to work overtime (where needed) Detail & Service orientated to meet deadlines Ability to pivot priorities as needed Continuous improvement and adaptation to changes Encourage and support a positive work environment Strong communication skills Quality Orientation – Accomplishes tasks by considering all areas involved, not matter how small. Showing concern for all aspects of the job. Accurately checks for processes and tasks. Customer Focus – Makes customers and their needs a primary focus of their actions.
