Compounder/ Batch Mixing
**Job Title: Compounder** **Job Description** As a Reaction Operator (Compounder), you will be responsible for handling computer systems and related documentation, lifting up to 50 lbs., and filling liquids and powders into tanks. You will use scales for accurate measurements of liquids, weigh out raw materials according to the formula, and potentially operate a forklift to move products around the production floor. The role involves selecting the appropriate tank based on manufacturing requirements, picking required raw materials from the warehouse, scanning raw materials for accuracy, staging and adding materials to tanks, and packing orders according to sales orders. Adherence to GMP and safety guidelines is essential. **Responsibilities** + Use computer systems and handle related documentation + Lift up to 50 lbs. + Fill liquids and powders into tanks + Use scales for accurate measurements of liquids + Weigh out raw materials according to the formula + Operate a forklift to move products around the production floor + Select the appropriate tank based on manufacturing requirements and batch size + Pick required raw materials from the raw material warehouse + Scan raw materials using a barcode scanner to ensure lot number and quantity accuracy + Stage raw materials and add them to the tank according to work order manufacturing instructions + Fill and pack orders according to sales orders, ensuring accurate weight and using specified sifter screens and labels + Follow GMP, safety guidelines, and procedures + Be open to cross-training and helping in different departments **Essential Skills** + Experience in food production, blending, GMP, production, compounding, batching, packaging, batch making, mixing, formulation, batch mixing, and batch record keeping + Ability to work around chemicals/food grade materials in a GMP environment + Proficiency in using scales, pumps, valves, and air mixers + Ability to lift 50 lbs. + Forklift and pallet jack operation skills + Attention to detail for labeling and packing logs + Comfortable wearing a respirator **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience performing compounding, reaction operating, and mixing within a food or chemical environment + Understanding of GMP guidelines + Ability to perform raw material measurements + Experience in chemical, machine operation, pharmaceutical, batch mixer, and filling **Why Work Here?** We value our employees and provide a comprehensive benefits package designed to address the health and welfare needs of you and your family now and in the future.
