The Role: Compounding Technician/Assistant

You’ll welcome coaching and feedback and are always looking at ways to further develop yourself as well as the service we offer.

Expression of Interest: Compounding Assistant/Technician

We are seeking expressions of interest for multiple positions within our compounding team in Old Toongabbie site. We are seeking enthusiastic and highly motivated Assistants and Technician to work collaboratively and support the aseptic production process.

Candidates who are looking to start their career in pharmaceuticals are encouraged to apply as full training will be provided.
 

 Duties and Responsibilities:

Picking and preparing raw materialsAseptically compounding (mixing) sterile solutionsPacking of finished units for each order including final inspection of productsLabelling and dispatching of prepared productsEnsuring documentation is completed in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)Adhering to Baxter’s Standard Operating ProceduresContribute to Baxter’s full inclusion and diversity culture

  

Essential skills & qualifications

Enjoy work that requires a high attention to detailBe comfortable working within a cleanroom environment for most of your working dayBe highly productiveDemonstrate a good understanding of basic mathematicsCommunicate effectively both verbally and in writingBe flexible across shifts Experience in pharmacy, manufacturing or warehousing would be an advantageTasks involve manual repetitive handling and dexterityPrevious manual compounding experience highly regarded
