Overview Here at M Health Fairview Orthotics & Prosthetics, we are seeking to add a Compression and Mastectomy Fitter to our team! This is a full-time position (80 hours per 2 weeks) working from 8:00AM - 4:30PM, Monday through Friday, at our St Paul location. This position is benefit-eligible! Responsibilities Job Description This position is responsible for working with patients to meet their surgical needs including measuring, ordering and fitting of their compression garments and mastectomy supplies, along with being responsible for obtaining the required documentation form physicians and patients to insure reimbursement. Conducts Evaluation Patient evaluation Provides information to the patient allowing them to make an informed consent about their care. Provide a wide array of products to meet the needs of the patient Provide a welcome and supportive environment Gathers Information Obtains prior authorization as required by payers for prosthetsis garments and supplies Obtains all documentation necessary to meet the requirements for successfully processing insurance claims Ensures performance standards are met Bill products according to insurance guidelines Maintains inventory of supplies and equipment as appropriate to meet the needs of the patient Maintain knowledge of computer programd and equipment to ensure efficient and accurate use ot technology Qualifications Required Experience 1 year of experience in a healthcare and/or patient care setting Preferred Education Vocational/Technical Training or Associate’s Degree Experience 2+ years of experience in a healthcare and/or patient care setting Compress and Mastectomy fitting experience Direct patient care EEO Statement EEO/AA Employer/Vet/Disabled: All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to any lawfully protected status Benefit Overview Fairview offers a generous benefit package including but limited to medical, dental, vision plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, PTO and Sick and Safe Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement, early access to earned wages, and more!
