Role description:
This role is part of Arcadis’ Global Excellence Centre (GEC) and will join our 3,000+ talented individuals working in India, Romania, and Philippines, in partnership with Arcadis’ offices globally. The GEC brings key capabilities and capacity to support our clients seamlessly around the world. Role accountabilities:
Collaborate with senior designers and project teams to develop and implement computational design solutions that meet project goals. Use parametric modeling tools to create and refine design iterations, optimizing geometries through algorithms and scripts. Contribute to the creation and refinement of algorithms to automate processes and generate complex geometries efficiently. Conduct simulations and analyses to assess design performance, providing insights for informed decision-making. Document methodologies and outcomes for knowledge sharing, and prepare reports on design strategies. Stay updated on trends in computational design and continuously enhance skills. Maintain clear communication with teams and actively participate in design discussions.Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Computer Science, Computational Design, or related field. Proficiency in computational design software such as Rhino Grasshopper, Dynamo, or similar tools. Strong understanding of parametric modeling and algorithmic design principles. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Effective communication and team collaboration abilities. Previous experience with parametric design projects is a plus.Why Arcadis?
