This position would assist in our parcel digitization effort, where we are digitizing DOT acquired parcels on transportation projects throughout the state. Responsibilities of the intern would include researching parcels in the DOT’s Electronic Management Records System (ERMS) and digitizing parcels from strip maps and plat maps into CAD. Various other duties assisting the Bureau’s GIS and Design units may be required. On the job training in CAD and some GIS. Candidates with existing CAD experience preferred and willingness to learn new programs. Duration: Student will work full-time (up to 40 hours/week) during the summer semester. Part-time during fall and spring semesters (up to 20-hours per week) options are available.
