GENERAL OVERVIEW
Coordinates all computer assisted navigation in the OR. Schedules and runs all O-arm and cranial navigation cases. Assists with laser cases when available.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilitates and runs all O-ARM and cranial navigation cases in the OR. (40%)Initiates a DTI program to compliment the cranial navigation program. (25%)Tests all navigated instruments for proper geometric tolerances. (10%)Implements new surgical navigation programs and procedures as they become available. (15%)Initiates residency training programs for all navigation procedures. (5%)Performs other duties as assigned. (5%)QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum
Graduate from technical program (i.e. electrical, biomedical engineering, radiology, surgical tech).CPR – American Heart AssociationPreferred
