The Computer Science program in the Business, Sport Management, Computer Science, and Accounting Department is currently accepting applications for a nine-month, full-time, open-rank faculty position beginning August of 2025. The Computer Science faculty will teach Object-Oriented Programming, Web Programming, Computer Security, and Operating Systems. A doctorate in Computer Science or a related discipline is preferred and will be required for a tenure-track position. A Master’s degree with exceptional professional experience will be considered for an instructor position. The successful candidate will be committed to excellence in teaching, and have demonstrated excellence in leadership, communication, multidisciplinary collaboration and academic and community service. Successful candidates will be expected to teach undergraduate courses and work closely with students, faculty, staff, and admissions to enhance the computer science program at Clarke University. The candidate will also be required to participate in other department and university activities. This faculty position will join the Business, Sport Management, Computer Science, and Accounting Department. The department has ten full-time and several part-time faculty members who offer a supportive environment for academic and professional development. Undergraduate major offerings include Computer Science, Business Administration (with emphases in Management, Finance, and Marketing), Accounting, and Sport Management.
