JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.
What You Will Do With JT4
The Computer Scientist I will design and program software that supports flight test operations by creating software to automate tasks, including: scheduling, test operations and other programming using Microsoft automation tools and in-house source code.

Interact with customers and assist with the interpretation of customer requirements Moderate coding skills in Python, SQL, C, C#, ASP Classic, and .NET Framework (WPF) Use judgment and initiative in developing analytical and computational technologies and methodologies for problem solving and advise team and project managers on technical problems Work with team members to develop the most appropriate approach to solve technical problems Implement design through software coding, assist in the design of system/software, create appropriate design documentation and team reviews Plan and execute unit, integration, and system testing Assist in maintenance and sustainment activities of system/software Perform other job-related duties, as required createDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Understanding of Operational Relational Mappers HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL Queries, Django Python ProgrammingREQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE
A bachelor's degree in an associated discipline is required for this position.
In addition, a Computer Scientist I must possess the following qualifications:
Knowledge of computer-based systems and applications Programming skills in languages used for job-specific programming tasks Familiarity with systems engineering and software development lifecycles. Effective verbal and written communication skills. The incumbent must possess a valid, state-issued driver's license. Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen.SALARY
The expected salary range for this position is $115,606 to $130,000 annually.Note: The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay.
