Position Requirements:
Build dashboards and reports for planning efforts.Use WebFocus v7 and v8 to maintain, and monitor databases to support the analysis tools including: data dashboard, comparative analysis, real-time alerts, internal search tool, and visualization options.Provide technical and administrative direction for personnel performing BI software programming tasks, including the review of work products for correctness, adherence to the design concept and to user standards and for progress in accordance with schedules.Provide BI system recommendations, if needed, for approval of major BI system installations, upgrades, product changes/modifications.Prepare milestone status reports and deliver presentations on BI system change proposals to colleagues, subordinates, and end user representatives.General Experience:
8 years of computer experience working independently or under general direction on complex application problems involving all phases of systems analysis.Prior senior level experience in IT systems development and support.Prior experience creating and maintaining agency and executive dashboards.Prior experience with technical programming in WebFOCUS v7 and WebFOCUS v8.Demonstrated leadership role in data migration and master data management.Excellent oral communication skills Specialized experience.At least five (5) years of experience in analysis and design of business applications for complex large-scale or mid-tier computer systems, or LAN-based systems, to include experience in Database Management Systems (DBMS), and use of programming languages. Knowledge of current storage and retrieval methods and demonstrated ability to formulate specifications for computer programmers to use in coding, testing, and debugging of computerEducation:
