This role supports the Emergency Medical Services System (EMSS) by managing electronic reporting software, supporting EMS education initiatives, and enhancing system operations. Responsibilities include data analysis to determine necessary actions, participating in updates to departmental procedures impacting pre-hospital policies, and ensuring compliance with reporting standards for the Illinois Department of Public Health. This position oversees the functionality of prehospital electronic reporting systems, maintains network hardware, and ensures that the EMSS infrastructure aligns with the mission and strategic goals of Loyola University Medical Center, adhering to all regulatory requirements.

Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skillsExperience with EMS systems and electronic reporting software preferredCommitment to supporting Loyola’s mission and promoting a collaborative environmentPosition Requirements:
Minimum Education:
Required: High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education
Preferred: Associates Degree
Specify Degree(s): EMT Training, Information Technology or other related field
Minimum Experience:
Required: 3-5 years of previous job-related experience
Preferred: 6-10 years of previous job-related experience
Licensure/Certifications:
Required: Basic Life Support (CPR)
EMS - Licensed EMT-Basic and/or Paramedic State of Illinois
General - Valid Illinois driver's license
