THE ROLE
The Grill/Pizza/Prep Cook is responsible for preparing foods in advance and during events at the stadium. This includes working at a flat-top grills, assembling and cooking pizzas at a designated pizza stations, and handling raw ingredients in preparation of front-line food assembly at various outlets throughout the stadium.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Set-up stations for service with the proper ingredients as outlined by the menu items, recipes and build sheets. Review and follow build sheets to ensure standards are being met and recipes are followed. Review cooking projections to produce the required amount of product to be served to meet guests’ needs during an event. Cook food as assigned to a specific location. Complete temperature checks (Cooking, Batch Cooking, Holding, Cooling) and complete all required food handling forms. Ensure that all the necessary and proper tools to perform tasks are available at all times, in good working order and properly cleaned. This includes all necessary PPE (ex: cut gloves, hot mitts, etc.). Ensure that working areas (tables, floors, walls), refrigerators, freezers are kept clean and sanitized as outlined. Adhere to proper sanitation, health and safety procedures and standards. Proper labeling of received, prepped, and stored foods. Ensure proper rotation of stock according to standards and procedures. To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Minimum of 1 year cooking experience. Previous experience is an asset Basic culinary skills and knife skills required Must be able to operate various Knifes, cutlery, gas grill, electric flat grill, conventional oven, smoker, fryer, dough roller and pizza oven Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and evenings.
