THE ROLE
The Concession Stand Lead is responsible for providing leadership to frontline Concessions staff in their role of delivering a great guest services experience. The Stand Lead will take ownership of inventory, staffing controls, and overall customer service while adhering to all corporate, facility, and governmental regulations in the service industry of food and beverage.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Ensure total guest/fan food service experience Provide training, direction, or guidance to frontline employees as required Give direction to employees to ensure an efficient and smooth event Develop floor control, establish priority lists, and maintain communication and organizational skills to direct his/her staff to complete assigned tasks within a timely manner Follow the direction of Concessions Managers and Concessions Supervisors to control variables Ensure the assigned work location is kept clean, organized, and within company guidelines Ability to enforce all company or government policies. Handle situations where frontline employees cannot (guest requests, complaints, etc.) Be a role model and provide a positive example for other employees as outlined in corporate guidelines Know your surroundings to assist all guest/fan needs Must be in proper uniform at all times as outlined in the Employee Handbook Perform duties with health and safety in mind at all times Responsible for assigning all staff clear and specific duties to accomplish prior, during, at the end of an event which allows for the overall operation of that specific stand Responsible for all inventory and cash controls in that specific stand Ensuring that all staff are following all corporate, facility, and government regulations, including but not limited to alcohol service, food safety, cash policies, facility timelines, etc. Responsible for counting the beginning and ending inventory at for each event and balancing inventory to event sales Track all inventories coming into or leaving assigned stand location. Ensure tracking is completed on transfer sheets or through warehouse charges/credits Keep appropriate product levels in stand locations based on sales and projections as communicated by Floor Manager Complete daily orders to keep stock levels at par Oversee food production levels and communicate cook times with staff to minimize food waste Other duties and tasks as assigned by ManagerQUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Prior experience in similar facility or operation is an asset. Ability to follow direction with minimal supervision. Smart Serve Certification. Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to handle multiple tasks and high-volume situations simultaneously. Strong communication skills with the ability to converse with diverse groups of customers and employees.
