Glacier Hills in Ann Arbor is looking for a full-time midnights Concierge person.
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Greet and welcome members and guests after hours. Answer on call phone and direct calls, resolve as needed. Ensure important messages are directed to appropriate personnel. Answer member inquiries regarding:
Packages / deliveries
Building Amenities
Family/guests entrances to all locations.
Lockouts
Status of common area maintenance (as provided by management or maintenance)
Maintain keys for common areas and know how to access areas after hours. Facilitate Maintenance and Repair requests to common areas and units after hours. Write and issue maintenance work orders to maintenance team as requested or on items reported.
Details on work requests should include location of problem, phone number and email address of member making complaint or report, and when service is expected.
Print or write legibly.
Dispatch maintenance emergency staff as needed to address emergency maintenance issues (after hours calls require management confirmation).
Enter work order into Worxhub system.
Serve as primary source for access control to the property.
Vendors must sign in before performing any work on the property or in units (exceptions for Trash, Snow Removal, Pool Services and Landscaping), if needed after hours during an emergency
Provide access to premises as needed, upon verification of identity and destination of member/guest/vendor.
Vendors/contractors working in units or for Glacier Hills must be escorted throughout property after hours.
Vendor/contractor log sign in.
Member Assistance/Contact Information
Assist residents during the event of an emergency.
Use the Emergency Broadcast system in the event of an emergency, inclement weather, fire, smoke, or other threats to the community.
Maintain staff roster and have available in case of an emergency.
Facilitate Member correspondence, maintain correspondence binder, and post notices when needed after hours.
Post notices in elevators and in bulletin boards as needed.
Reproduce and direct maintenance, janitorial or other personnel to distribute community wide notices after hours when needed.
Administrative / Clerical Projects.
Other duties as assigned.
Understand the Emergency Manual and act accordingly when an emergency arises.
Assist as needed with any cleanup resulting from flooding, spillages, or event other event requiring assistance.
Check all entrance doors to the building every night. Ensure all loading dock and garage doors are secured.
Process for Medical Examiner.
