Job Description:

Responsible for representing Accounts Receivable Services (“ARS”) in conciliation court to protect the client’s interest and settle outstanding debtor accounts.

Principle Responsibilities

Reviews non-purchased accounts to go to collections attorneyConfirm requirements of collections attorney are met per account prior to placement to ensure compliance (closed border, cease and desist, etc.)Collect on non-purchased accounts within the Final Referral department (MedCredit, non-court)Place outbound calls on accounts that were not purchased by ARSHandle inbound calls on non-court affiliated accountsHandle correspondence from consumers on non-purchased accountsPre court batchingPre-screen accounts for non-eligibility (bankruptcy, M.A., APC, etc.)Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description2+ years collections experience required (medical collections preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

High school diploma or GEDAssociate's or Vocational degree in Business, Health science, or related field

Pay Range

Pay Range: $24.08 to $33.00 per hour

The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
