COMPANY VEHICLE!** **_must have construction experience and ability to learn new tasks_** **Job Description** We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Material Testing Technician who will be responsible for conducting field tests on construction materials such as soil and concrete. This role is essential in ensuring that the construction sites meet all required specifications and quality standards. The position offers the opportunity to grow within the construction industry, with comprehensive training provided for entry-level candidates. **Responsibilities** + Conduct field sampling and testing of concrete and soil to ensure stability and compliance with building plans and specifications. + Perform quality control to verify that streets and buildings are constructed correctly. + Carry out field inspection of reinforcing steel (rebar) and masonry. + Independently manage fieldwork 90% of the day, covering multiple job sites. + Utilize basic math skills for daily tasks. + Overtime hours + Operate a company vehicle to travel to different job sites. **Essential Skills** + Ability to carry a 50-60 pound wheelbarrow frequently. + Basic math skills including addition and subtraction. + 2 years of tenure in previous work history. **Why Work Here?** Our Client offers a team-oriented culture and is committed to training and providing opportunities for career growth.
