**Job Summary:** We are looking for an experienced and skilled Concrete Worker to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in all aspects of concrete work, including forming, placing, and finishing. This role requires precision, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. **Key Responsibilities:** + Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements. + Set forms to desired pitch and depth, and align them. + Place and finish concrete surfaces, including floors, sidewalks, roads, and curbs. + Operate power tools and equipment such as mixers, trowels, and vibrators. + Install reinforcement materials like rebar and wire mesh. + Apply curing and sealing compounds to concrete surfaces. + Monitor the curing process to ensure proper hardening and durability. + Repair and restore damaged concrete structures. + Ensure all work meets quality standards and project specifications. + Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). + Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and orderly condition. **Qualifications:** + High school diploma or equivalent. + Proven experience as a skilled concrete worker or in a similar role. + In-depth knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing techniques. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans. + Proficiency with hand tools and power equipment used in concrete work. + Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials. + Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. **Working Conditions:** + Outdoor work in various weather conditions. + Physical labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. + Use of hand tools and power equipment. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.
