Conditioning Technician
Olsten Staffing is looking for a Conditioning Technician in the Manning, SC area. Responsibilities: + Responsible for the safe operation, productivity and quality of the Production Conditioning Room and related equipment + You will have the important role of ensuring all urethane equipment is correctly filled and producing quality material at all times + You are a key member of the Production Supervisor's team as you will help to drive the consistency and quality of the Dispensing Team + Perform documented checks on all dispensing equipment + Prepare all dispensing lines for the daily start up + Order and manage the inventory of urethane and mold release needed for Production + Perform all daily scheduled tank fill ups required, which includes, but is not limited to, the beginning of all breaks and before the end of shift + Replace and properly dispose of empty urethane containers as needed + Perform the mixing of materials in drums + Perform daily quality checks on materials + Communicates clearly with other Operators and Supervisors + Clean and maintain Conditioning Room and all Dispensing area (tanks, cylinders, hoses, floor areas, etc.) + Responsible for operating the media blaster and cleaning molds as needed + Monitor air pressure and maintain air lines + Alert maintenance to any issues immediately + Completes daily production reports as needed + Provide on-the-job training to new employees as needed + Promote teamwork and build a culture of continuous improvement + Other duties as assigned + Able to perform all duties and responsibilities listed safely and wear the required Personal Protective Equipment + Able to report every workday, on time and for the entire shift + Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment + The main warehouse area is not climate controlled and can get hot during summer and cold during winter months + Work involves lifting of materials up to 50 pounds Qualifications: + Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required + High School Diploma or Equivalent + Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers + Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds Shift hours are 4:30am to 1pm with overtime as required. **Pay Details:** $15.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
