If you are a great collaborator and communicator, we would like to hear from you! Annual Salary: $70,000.00 + Incentive Plan. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate with meeting planners and other executives to develop service schedule for events. Conduct site inspections and pre-conference briefing meetings. Check meeting rooms/arrangements, troubleshoot any problems to ensure guest satisfaction. Detail groups (resumes, BEO’s) and ensure weekly resume, daily BEO and weekly staff meeting have group information for 10-14 days out. Negotiate food and beverage prices, function space, and hotel services within approved departmental booking guidelines. Work closely with Executive Chef on menu design and concepts pricing for catering events. Work effectively with hotel departments and outside vendors involved in servicing the groups, updating operating departments of any revisions to meeting arrangements. Monitor group room blocks and pick up, generate detailed resumes for the operating departments. Ensure proper posting of meeting/event schedules. Achieve budgeted revenues and personal sales goals. Perform other duties as required. Qualifications Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to manage competing priorities. Catering and/or Conference Services experience preferred. Knowledge of Fosse, CITY, Delphi and other sales tracking activity tools a plus. Knowledge of meeting room capabilities, banquet set-up, audio-visual and any other pertinent details Compensation Range The compensation for this position is $70,000.00/Yr. - $70,000.00/Yr. based on qualifications and experience.
