Description
We are seeking a Conferencing Services Technician to assist with the upgrade and implementation of conference room technology. The Conferencing Services Specialist will be responsible for planning and executing the operational and installation activities for AV systems. This role involves coordinating with internal IT teams, facilities, business clients, and vendors to ensure successful installations for new room deployments.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Plan and manage the operational and installation activities for AV systems.
+ Lead larger, more complex technology deployments in support of conference room management, adhering to established standards.
+ Ensure compliance with applicable corporate and divisional policies and procedures, following best practices and identifying process improvements.
+ Lead cross-functional IT initiatives to ensure successful AV experiences for new room deployments.
+ Champion change and innovation, requiring a global perspective on decision-making.
+ Adhere to established policies and provide all related quality deliverables as determined by QA practices.
+ Collaborate with local site facilities to scope out and execute full AV installations.
+ Act as a liaison between IT and clients to ensure successful implementation of technology deployment projects, serving as a source of information for all projects within your responsibility.
+ Deliver all technology deployment projects within scope, on time, and within budget.
+ Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) and part of a team responsible for the implementation, operation, troubleshooting, and vendor escalation of AV equipment, including conference AV and unified communication systems.
+ Liaise between architects, vendors, and stakeholders, making and approving substitutions where applicable.
+ Work cross-functionally between IT teams to ensure a successful conferencing experience.
+ Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and project implementation plans, including risk mitigation.
+ Provide regular updates to stakeholders and users of conference spaces regarding upcoming changes, downtime, and training opportunities related to AV.
+ Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets, in collaboration with project staff from various functional departments.
+ Analyze project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope, timelines, and costs to ensure the project team adheres to requirements.
+ Establish and foster relationships with appropriate internal partners, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes.
+ Identify risks and form contingency plans around conference room deployments and upgrades.

Qualifications:
+ Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
+ Familiarity with Cisco Control Hub, Cisco Call Manager, MS Teams Admin, and other unified communications systems
+ Experience working with interoperability between MS Teams and Cisco
+ Strong leadership and organizational abilities

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
