CNO’s worksite group, Optavise, is hiring a Benefits Configuration Analyst who is responsible for all stages of benefits administration system configuration, including initial setup, annual renewals, and ongoing updates. The analyst documents configuration requirements, completes benefit setup accurately within deadlines, and understands the client's benefit programs to ensure correct benefit offerings and rules. Additionally, the role involves consulting clients on best practices, system testing, and effectively communicating with stakeholders to aid decision-making. The analyst supports the development, implementation, defect mediation, and testing of configurations for multiple clients.

**As a Configuration Analyst, Benefits Administration, your responsibilities will include:**
+ Developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the Optavise-supported benefits administration platform capabilities and configuration.
+ Attending discovery calls with clients in partnership with the Implementation Project Manager.
+ Gathering configuration documentation and reviewing processes; collecting and documenting all required data for configuration.
+ Translating the client’s business requirements to the benefits administration system configuration, ensuring accurate and timely system configuration.
+ Participating in the quality assurance review process and correcting configuration issues on a timely basis.
+ Working directly with users and clients to identify needs and resolve software configuration problems in a timely manner.
+ Troubleshooting and solving issues related to basic system configuration.
+ Participating in employer group and/or broker meetings to review functionality issues.
+ Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Client Services and Configuration to analyze and fix client issues.
+ Coordinating the external system training for clients during initial launch and renewal and providing training materials to clients
+ Monitoring and troubleshooting common and daily tasks and events as well as changes.
**The Configuration Analyst, Benefits Administration position is well-suited for you if you:**
+ Have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and the ability to resolve moderate complexity configuration issues.
+ Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical topics with leadership.
+ Are self-motivated and autonomous with the judgment to know when to take the lead, when to involve others, and how to set priorities for the work functions assigned.
+ Can effectively prioritize and execute tasks within expectations and balance multiple priorities.
+ Ability to work extra hours as needed during peak times.
**What you’ll need:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or related field or equivalent experience
+ 3 years of experience with health and welfare employee benefits; 3 years of experience with software configuration; 2 years of experience with employee benefits administration systems
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
+ Attention to detail with 100% accuracy.

Associates who live outside of a 60-mile radius of a corporate office (Birmingham, Carmel, Chicago, Orlando, and Milwaukee) may perform this role full-time work from home (WFH) from any US-based location, as long as you are willing to work central or eastern time zone hours.
