Challenging Configuration and Change Management Role in Commuter and Regional Trains

Siemens Mobility is a separately managed company of Siemens AG and has been a leading supplier in the field of mobility for over 160 years. Our core business includes rail vehicles, rail automation and electrification solutions, turnkey systems and related services. 

At the moment, we are seeking a highly organized and proactive Change/Configuration Manager to join our team in a future-oriented role. As the Change/Configuration Manager, you will be responsible for defining and maintaining the vehicle configuration across all projects within our Portfolio Unit for Commuter and Regional Trains.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate with stakeholders including suppliers, customers, and internal teams to define the complete vehicle configuration details Ensure high-quality configuration data by identifying and correcting any issues Manage the timely implementation of technical changes according to regulations and customer needs Serve as the central point of contact for all configuration-related questions and status of the implementation of the planned changes Contribute to the ongoing development and optimization of configuration and change management processes

Qualifications:

Master's degree in a technical field Advanced English, communicative German Familiarity with the rail vehicle manufacturing industry and product structure Experience in project management, ideally in configuration or change management for rail vehicles Excellent communication skills to work effectively across international teams Previous experience with SAP and an experience in rolling stock is an advantage
