As the system progresses into the Exploitation Phase, we are expanding our team to support the documentation management of the Key Management Facility within the Galileo Mission Segment.
We are seeking a Configuration and Documentation Manager (CADM) who will play a pivotal role in managing and safeguarding mission-critical documentation for one of Europe’s most significant space programs.
Your role in our team
As a CADM, you will be responsible for the structured management of documentation across various phases of the Galileo Mission Segment. Your role will ensure the integrity, accessibility, and security of technical and non-technical documents, ensuring compliance with established procedures and regulations. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring that all documentation processes meet the stringent requirements of this high-stakes mission.
Key responsibilities include:
Documentation Oversight: Lead the coordination, preparation, and review of technical documentation related to design reviews, audits, and other formal project milestones.
Configuration Control: Ensure proper handling and maintenance of configuration-controlled documents, including processing changes, version control, and tracking throughout the document lifecycle.
Compliance Management: Ensure that all documentation adheres to regulatory, contractual, and security guidelines, particularly in the context of classified and sensitive materials.
Archival and Retrieval: Manage the secure storage, retrieval, and distribution of documents across various platforms and databases, ensuring efficient access while maintaining security protocols.
Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with internal teams, clients, and external partners to facilitate the timely and accurate exchange of documentation. Serve as the point of contact for documentation-related inquiries.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements for documentation and configuration management, ensuring the continuous enhancement of the system’s documentation workflows.
Documentation Support: Provide expert support to project teams and end-users, assisting with document retrieval, submission processes, and the use of documentation management tools.

Here's how you'll make an impact:
Education
• Bachelor’s degree (HBO or WO) or higher in Documentation Management, Information Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Certifications in configuration management or documentation standards (e.g., CMII, ITIL) are advantageous.
Experience
• • Proven experience in a Configuration and Documentation Management role, ideally in a regulated or technical field (e.g., aerospace, defence, telecommunications).
• Experience with document control systems, configuration management tools, and archival software.
• Familiarity with standards such as ISO 9001, ECSS, or similar relevant industry standards.
• Experience in handling classified or sensitive documentation is highly desirable.
Technical skills
• Proficiency in using documentation management systems and version control tools.
• Advanced understanding of configuration management principles, including baseline management and change control processes.
• Strong knowledge of security and compliance requirements for handling sensitive documentation.
Security Requirements
• Holding an EU passport is mandatory for obtaining an EU Personal Security Clearance at CONFIDENTIAL level or above for this position, this clearance will be a part of the selection procedure.
