Summary You will serve as a Configuration and Data Management Specialist in the Configuration and Data Management Division Code E434200 of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV POINT MUGU. Responsibilities You will provide support to Configuration Management (CM) and Data Management (DM) in assigned projects to include hardware and software configurations. You will assist in the development and maintain a CM Plan detailing hardware and software Configuration Identification (HWCI/SWCI), Version Control, Configuration Control and Management, Configuration Status Accounting (CSA), and Auditing and Review. You will Assist in the communication of Configuration/Data Management activities to the CM Team Lead, Integrated Product Team Lead and other Program Lead personnel. You will gather information and prepare MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio presentation material which depict status, issues, and Plan of Action and Milestones. You will develop Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) to support changes to a Configuration Item. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications To Qualify for the GS-09 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07 in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following: Providing Configuration Management (CM) Data Management (DM) support in a hardware/software environment; Developing Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs); reviewing software deliveries against software change documentation; Interpreting hardware drawings and ensuring that drawings accurately reflect the hardware; Utilizing MICROSOFT products and the Jira Agile Project Management tool; Capturing accurate meeting minutes and notes; Accurately describe process improvements and methodologies; Preparing plans and agendas/minutes ;Preparing labels for hardware deliveries. For the GS-11 position: A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; OR Three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree; OR An LL.M. degree in a field directly related to the position being filled; OR A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
