Configuration Engineer (m/f/d) eBeam Technology/Semiconductor Industry

Our subsidiary, Integrated Circuit Testing GmbH (ICT GmbH), with ~160 employees, develops and produces electron microscopes, the heart of our machines, which monitor processes in semiconductor production and classify the smallest defects on wafers. To meet the rapidly increasing demand from our customers in the semiconductor industry, our location near Munich, Germany is constantly growing.

With a strong intension to expand our newly founded supplier performance engineering team in our facility near Munich, we are looking for experienced Mechanical Engineers, with a strong background in manufacturing processes, to manage the technical domain of Applied Materials cutting-edge suppliers as part of the operation division.

You’re eager to;

Be a part of highly qualified engineering team, to efficiently manage the manufacturing as well as technical domain of complex modules developed by our R&D team

Collaborate with other engineers to ensure a prompt execution as well as efficient and smooth production

Take a lead on driving our suppliers to excellence for enabling smooth manufacturing processes in our facility near Munich

Key Responsibilities: 

Data Management: 

Manage the productization of leading-edge ebeam technologies throughout the product development process till support (E2E Data Management).

Implementation of Configuration Product related Data in the PLM System and the transfer to downstream applications.

Maintaining Product Structure and Baseline definitions.

Control of Engineering BoM and transition to Manufacturing BoM. 

Ensuring that the datasets and documentations are consistent and complete for the assigned projects and changes. 

Perform Change Management on various Design Data.

Preparation and execution of Change Control Boards including the technical plausibility of changes. 

Ensure traceable and complete change documentation to ensure configuration control. 

 
Process Management: 

Further development of the Configuration Management Process. 

Lead and support the implementation of the right measures and process improvements within a multidisciplinary development team. 

Define and set up a holistic data analysis process to enable data driven decisions. 

Planning and support of configuration audits.

Support on Configuration Management planning for assigned projects and changes. 

Establishing guidelines and policies for the management of the documentation for the assigned projects and changes 

 
Stakeholder Communication: 

Support and mentoring for the employees of the used software tools. 

Communicate progress, challenges, and milestones to stakeholders. 

Performing of configuration status accounting 

 
Your profile:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing planning, or a related field. 

2 years of experience in configuration management 

Structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working 

International mind-set 

Good communication skills and good Team worker, having an analytical and process-oriented mind-set. 

Experience in CMII standards or similar will be an advantage. 

Experience in Teamcenter and SAP will be an advantage
