Position Summary:
As a Configuration Management Engineer 1, you will plan, manage, coordinate and complete activities surrounding configuration model creation, maintenance and ensures user success.
Essential Responsibilities:
Develop, manage and execute Configurator model creation and maintenance. Collaborates with a wide variety of functional areas such as sales, engineering and operations to develop and maintain logical BOM and route rules. Respond to ECO tasks which demand changes to configuration models and may have an impact on existing Work in Process BOMs. Import templates from CRM system into MRP system Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree (BS) in Industrial Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience. Other Skills and Abilities Experience with Boolean Logic Programming and general working understanding of MRP systems. Ability to read Mechanical drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs). Excellent written and oral communication skills required. Microsoft Office suite. Experience with Microsoft AX MRP and specifically AX Configurator a bonus. Familiarity with XML file structure. Level II- III: Ability to understand and apply accounting and costing principles. Expert level skills in MS Excel a must. VBA/Macro experience is a plus.Why join Key Technology?
