Configuration Management Internship - Dallas, TX

Description:Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is seeking a Configuration Management and Data Management (CM/DM) Intern in Dallas, TX. In this role, you will be tasked with:
• Configuration Control activities are implemented on the program. Configuration Control Board (CCB)
meetings are conducted on the program. • Development, preparation, and change control of the
contractor change controlled PDDP, Government change controlled TDP, before and after production
baseline. • Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) activities are met. CSA records are current. •
Software Configuration Management (SCM) requirements are being met. • Audits are conducted:
Functional Configuration Audits (FCA), Physical Configuration Audits (PCA), and audits of
subcontractor/vendor TDPs or PDDPs and Configuration Management (CM) Systems. • Data
Management activities are implemented. CDRLs are delivered on-time and CDRLs/SDRLs and status
and reporting requirements are met. • All Government changes (RFDs and ECPs) are approved and
contract modified prior to the delivery of hardware. • Serialization and Traceability requirements are
met. • CM is participating as an active member in any Integrated Product/Process Team (IPT). • Review
and release of the subcontractor/vendor Statement of Requirements (SOR). • Leading and mentoring
program CM/DM team members • Preparing, publishing, and revising the contractor’s Configuration
Management Plan (CMP) • Protect and maintain the government and contractor controlled technical
data package. • Maintain an accurate As-Designed configuration within the PLM database for all end
item deliverables. • Review and provide comments for Engineering Releases and verify that all
comments have been incorporated correctly. • Monitor all release activity after CCB approval, release,
and distribution processing to ensure error-free final completion of effort. Coordinate resolution for
errors/omissions with appropriate area of responsibility.

Must be a US Citizen;  this position will require a government security clearance.  This position is located at a facility that requires special access.​
Basic Qualifications:
-Majoring in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft office products
- Previous internship or work study program
- Must be US Citizen
Desired Skills:
- Strong organizational skills and be detailed oriented towards project management
- Some technical aptitude as either highlighted in the resume and/or discussed in interview
- Attention to details is paramount to compare results with multiple data sets

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $53,664 - $61,672. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
Pay Rate:
