OverviewIGT is looking for an expert yet hands-on DevOps Engineer able to thrive in a fast-growing business where change is constant. As a member of the team, you will be working with the DevOps Manager to ensure the delivery of customer value in the DevOps field.
This position is a hybrid position located in West Greenwich, Rhode Island. Candidates must live in a commutable distance.
ResponsibilitiesThe Configuration Release Engineer develops, analyzes and maintains tools that support and automate processes for hardware or software product release.
Writes installation scripts and programs for installation of products. Works with project teams to determine an appropriate build schedule and then initiates the build and packaging process. Compiles and assembles software from source code. Ensures tools are stored in source control. Supports developers for software package registry and delivery. Works with others to complete analysis, evaluations and design alternatives and to implement process improvements. Works with development engineers to correct build errors. Maintain existing IaC solution Maintain and improve code related to software release creation and deployment Update and deploy configurations for new sites Update Puppet/Ansible code as needed Fix problems related to infrastructure Infrastructure deployment Jenkins/Azure applications deployments Deploy, fix, and improve deployment procedures as needed. Provide support to operations teams ensure the availability of business systems Manage and advance risks and blockers Used to working in Agile methodologies Follow standard methodologies for ensuring the security and protection of our customer's data and business IP. Identify and implement opportunities to automate processes and practices Qualifications
Education:
Associates degree or equivalent experience is required Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.Experience:

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $39,848 - $103,002. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
