Purpose

Primary responsibility includes system development and configuration, testing, and supporting Corporate Systems production applications.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (relevant experience can be substituted for the required education based on one calendar year of experience for one academic year of education)Three years of development and configuration experience are required to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the companyIdentifies risks and issues and escalates as necessary.  Researches and document recommendation or solutions for upgrades, improvements, issue resolution to ensure a stable, available and protected technical infrastructure.Proficient with one or more programming languages/protocols: Java, J2EE, JavaScript, VB.Net, ASP.Net, XML/XSLFamiliar with multi-threaded applications, test-driven development, advanced profiling, and debuggingExperience with Agile development methodology is a plusDemonstrated proficiency with one or more technology environments and the ability to readily learn and apply new and emerging conceptsExcellent communication, problem-solving, and data analysis skillsExperience with at least one DB platform (e.g., SQL Server, DB2 or AS400/IBM iSeriesExcellent decision-making skillsHigh level of customer service

Essential Functions

Responsible for Stibo Step supplier and Item development lifecycleManage user issues and ticketing system artifacts related to application problemsIdentifies risks and issues and escalates as necessary. Researches and documents recommendations and/or solutions for upgrades, improvements, and issue resolution to ensure a stable, available, and protected technical infrastructure.Integrate new products and solutions into the existing environment for continuous improvementDevelop advanced SQL statements and procedural code on multiple database management systems (e.g., SQL Server and Oracle).  Tasks include querying data, manipulating data, generating reports, etc.Work with end users to define business requirements for new projects as well as supporting existing processes.Analyze data to solve new and existing business issues.Work concurrently on multiple projects and tasks across different business units.The ideal candidate would have experience with at least one aspect of managing the Purchase Order Lifecycle

Working Conditions (travel, hours, environment)

This position is salaried, knowing it may include hours that exceed eight hours in a day or forty hours in a weekThis job typically doesn’t need travel but occasional travel may be required including air and car travel for attending training, conferences or Store / Warehouse visits.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles.  The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate.
