Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled CPQ Business Process Owner to lead and optimize our Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ) processes and platform development. This role will be responsible for managing a team of four configurator engineers, ensuring the successful development and deployment of configurator solutions aligned with business needs, and continuously improving CPQ efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CPQ systems, process optimization, team leadership and change management.Work model HybridLocation GlobalTeam Leadership & Management•Lead, mentor and develop a team of four configurator engineers.•Allocate tasks, set priorities and oversee daily operations to ensure high team performance.•Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous learning within the team.Configurator Portfolio Development & Deployment•Develop and implement a CPQ configurator portfolio in alignment with business demand and the portfolio roadmap.•Collaborate with product management, marketing & sales, commercial operations IS team and suppliers to ensure CPQ solutions meet business requirements.•Oversee requirement collection, design, testing and deployment of new configurator models and enhancements.•Ensure configurator solutions support accurate pricing, product configurations and quoting processes.•Maintain and update the configurator portfolio to reflect changes in product offerings and market trends.CPQ Process Optimization & Efficiency•Continuously assess and enhance CPQ processes to improve speed, accuracy and ease of use.•Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline CPQ workflows.•Define and monitor KPIs to measure configurator performance and process efficiency.•Drive cross-functional initiatives to optimize end-to-end CPQ operations.•Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging CPQ technologies to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications for the role

5+ years of experience in CPQ, product configuration or a related field.Proven experience in leading teams and managing technical professionals.Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate business needs into user stories and technical requirements.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across functions and geographiesStrong knowledge of CPQ platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Conga, ConfigIT).Expertise in product configuration, pricing strategies and sales processes.Experience in business process improvement and automation.Experience in process optimization (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma) and change management methodologies (e.g. ADKAR)
