Our client, a leader in the energy sector, is seeking a Conformance Specialist III to join their team. As a Conformance Specialist III, you will be part of the Contract Management Department supporting various project teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a proactive problem-solving mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Conformance Specialist III
**Location: Calgary, Edmonton or Toronto**
**Job Description:**
+ Manage the administration stages of contracts for assigned capital and maintenance projects.
+ Facilitate communication and documentation flow between the company and contractors to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
+ Lead contract negotiations and assist in drafting technical contract language.
+ Coordinate with project teams to develop and implement project-specific communication plans.
+ Review contractor submissions for compliance and manage the change order process effectively.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, legal, technical, or business discipline, or an Associate's degree with relevant experience.
+ Experience in contract administration or conformance within construction-related projects, preferably in the energy sector.
+ Strong understanding of contracting processes and issues related to energy industry construction projects.
+ Excellent technical writing and organizational skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively in a team environment.
