Join Us as a Connected Vehicle - Data Scientist Intern!

 

We are looking for a Data Scientist intern to join our team this summer. Some of the things our intern will work on will be to design, develop and program methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze unstructured, diverse “big data” sources to generate actionable insights and solutions for client services and product enhancement. Intern will interact with product and service teams to identify questions and issues for data analysis and experiments.

 


About the Intern Program

12 week program with start dates on: May 12 or 19 or June 2
40 hours per week
Must graduate between December 2025 - May 2027

Responsibilities Assist in the collection, processing, and analysis of large datasets from various sources, including vehicle sensors, telematics, and production systemsDevelop and implement machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex problems related to vehicle performance, predictive maintenance, and operational efficiencyCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, software developers, and business analysts, to identify data-driven solutions and opportunitiesParticipate in the development of data visualization tools and dashboards to communicate insights and findings to stakeholdersConduct exploratory data analysis and statistical modeling to support research and development projectsPrepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations to share results and recommendations Minimum Requirements Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
