Description
Our client is in search of an Accountant to join their team based in San Antonio. The right candidate will have both auditing and industry accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing. Responsibilities:
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of accounting transactions and completion of audit compliance reviews and tasks.
• Utilize various Accounting Software Systems to maintain and manage financial data.
• Handle tasks related to Accounts Payable (AP) and other relevant accounting functions.
• Collaborate with other team members to conduct intercompany eliminations and manage intercompany accounts.
• Play a pivotal role in audit remediation and annual internal audit processes.
• Leverage your knowledge of ERP systems to streamline accounting processes.
• Actively participate in budget processes to support financial planning and forecasting.
• Ensure strict adherence to JSOX, SOX - Sarbanes-Oxley, and other relevant compliance standards.
• Conduct trial balance checks to ensure accounting accuracy.
• Manage intercompany transactions and ensure assured compliance assessment.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience, Must have hands on auditing experience in public accounting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Accounting Functions.
• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP).
• Experience in Auditing and Budget Processes.
• Involvement in the Annual Internal Audit.
• Understanding of J-Sox and/or SOX - Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements.
• Ability to prepare and analyze Trial Balance reports.
• Expertise in Intercompany Accounting, including Intercompany Accounts, Intercompany Eliminations, and Intercompany Transactions.
• Experience with Assured Compliance Assessment Solution.
• Proven track record in Audit Compliance.
• Ability to ensure and Assure Compliance in all accounting operations.
