**Job Summary**
The Constituent Relations Coordinator will provide critical support for alumni engagement, advancement activities, and special events at the Spencer Fox Eccles School of Medicine during a **6-9 month period.** This role will focus on coordinating key alumni programs, including class reunions, mentorships programs, and alumni communications. The position will play a vital role in event logistics, outreach efforts, and storytelling to strengthen alumni and student connections.
This position will assist in the execution of special events and engagement initiatives, supporting reunion activities, networking programs, and stewardship efforts. Responsibilities will include distributing communications, such as the monthly alumni newsletter and marketing efforts, as well as curating and sharing compelling alumni and student stories. Additionally, the role will support database management and donor relations, ensuring accurate record-keeping and engagement tracking.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and project management skills, experience in event coordination and marketing, and a passion for fostering meaningful alumni relationships. This role requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including alumni volunteers, students, faculty, and advancement colleagues, to ensure the success of alumni programs and initiatives.
This is a **TEMPORARY ROLE** with a preferred start date of **May 1st, 2025** and end date of **December 31st, 2025** .
**Responsibilities**
**Event Coordination & Program Support**
+ Coordinate and assist with the organization and execution of special events, programs, and outreach activities including communications, outreach, and logistics.
+ Provide logistical support for alumni networking and mentoring programs.
+ Support stewardship efforts, including donor appreciation initiatives.
+ Work closely with volunteers and committees to enhance engagement.
+ Work closely with marketing/communications, donor relations, and campus partners on event and outreach activities.
**Public Relations:**
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for alumni and student events, outreach and engagement.
+ Develop and maintain positive relationships with alumni, students, and donors in support of the institution
**Communications**
+ Manage the creation and distribution of the monthly alumni newsletter.
+ Coordinate and assist with various marketing activities including digital communications, direct mailing, printing, social media, and constituent events.
+ Curate compelling alumni, students, research, and education stories for distribution on various platforms.
**Data & Information Management**
+ Assist with prospect research and maintenance of database.
+ Identify and maintain information on alumni and donors in database.

**Minimum Qualifications**
Four years public relations experience which includes two years marketing, fundraising or sales activities, or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) required. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills required. Experience writing news releases, producing newsletters and organizing special events and fund-raising activities preferred.
