Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Architect with a strong Construction Administration background who will take charge of projects as they enter the construction phase. The ideal candidate will attend construction meetings, conduct regular site visits, generate field reports, and coordinate with architects and designers. Field and construction experience is essential for this role.
ResponsibilitiesTake over projects as they enter the construction phaseAttend construction meetings and represent the firm professionallyConduct regular site visits and generate detailed field reportsAnswer requests for information promptly and accuratelyProcess contractor payment applications efficientlyReview and process change orders diligentlyReview and process shop drawings thoroughlyCoordinate with other architects and designers on construction projectsEngage with clients during construction meetingsEssential SkillsField and construction experienceAbility to make quick decisions and speak effectivelyExperience in construction administration with educational or public building projects5+ years of experience in construction administrationAbility to run projects independentlyDegree strongly preferredLicensure is a plus but not requiredRevit and AutoCAD skills are advantageousExperience with capital improvement projectsDesire to grow with the firm and pursue licensure if not already obtainedWork Environment
